In this hands-on workshops, participants will learn a modified version of an ancient eastern practice for the benefit of releasing tight muscles, pulling toxins from the body, and stimulating oxygen flow to congested and stagnant areas on the back, shoulders, and hips. Cupping Technique for the Bodyworker is a wonderful alternative to deep tissue work.

 

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:            

• Identify which clients are ideal for a session and which are not
• Explain to clients the many benefits of a cupping session
• Perform cupping technique as an add-on to any massage modality
• Offer cupping technique as an alternative to deep tissue work

Workshop Requirements: Massage Therapist license and/or 500 hour certificate.
